Client: Keele University

Our team were involved in the delivery of  the Huxley STEM teaching Laboratory extension at Keele University.

The project provided circa 1600m2 of highly serviced biology laboratory over a four story extension. The building works comprised of teaching laboratory, research labs, support spaces and offices together with modifications of the existing building, creating a new entrance and plant room.

Construction Director, Wesley Allmark said; “Whilst working at a previous company our team at Urban gained valuable experience of demanding STEM projects. We hope to use this to the benefit of other Universities and colleges in the future.“

Works were carried out whilst the existing building was fully operational, with minimal disruption to the daily activities of the University.
