Refurbishment and remodelling of teaching and office space

Project: Tithebarn Street Lecture Theatres

Client: Liverpool John Moores University

Our delivery team were involved in this project whilst working for a business previously founded by our Director Wesley Allmark.

This project involved the remodeling of the Tithebarn Street Lecture Theatres over a 48 week period. The project was procured under the LJMU Select List framework.

The scheme involved extensive strip out of the existing lecture theatres, office facilities and reception area with the replacement of all external existing windows over 5 floors with external concrete and brick repairs.

A new layout inside was created through the internal soft strip out of office areas providing open plan workspaces for staff including alterations to increase the space and provide larger work areas for staff. The existing reception was also fully remodelled to provide a bright open area for staff and visitors to the building.

Lecture theatres were refurbished and upgraded with new seating and AVIT installations throughout.

The Building remained in daily use by the University for the duration of the project.
