Refurbishment of an academic space

Project: Physiology Building

Located on University of Liverpool’s North Campus the Physiology Building project saw the refurbishment of ground floor academic space of an existing building.

The initial stages of the project involved extensive demolition of internal walls, opening up the space to allow for the creation of new Laboratories including window replacement, installation of new lab furniture, storage units, floor coverings, Audio Visual installations.

Further improvements included upgrading the existing administration office space strip out of existing services and reinstatement of electrical rewiring, lighting, security, fibre optic, ventilation, fume extract and heating works.

Façade works included re-pointing, overhauling/replacement of timber/metal windows, with associated external works and drainage.
